Based upon Dr. John Gottman’s revised New York Times bestselling book The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work, this updated course will give you the skills to teach classes and small groups for couples in your community in live or virtual formats. The Seven Principles Leader Training is designed to train professionals on how to offer workshops to couples based on The New York Times bestseller The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work. This was developed from Dr. Gottman’s four decades of research with more than 3,000 couples. Over the years, Drs. John and Julie Gottman have continued to fine-tune their innovative method of disrupting negative behaviors that send marriages onto the rocks. Showing partners how to work with the small daily moments that make up the heart and soul of any relationship. The Seven Principles Leader Training will train you how to teach couples proven, practical, and effective strategies for making marriage work.
Training Format
The Seven Principles Leader Training is offered as a live virtual training February 10th-11th, 8:30 – 12:30PM Pacific Time. We highly recommend attending live, online. Trainers will take audience questions, and you may have the opportunity to have your questions answered live.
Event Recordings
If you are unable to attend the training in real-time, you will have access to the digital recordings after the event. Event recordings will be posted within two weeks of the original training dates. You may find these recordings in your digital training materials, which are available on your Gottman.com account page.
Cancellation Policy
Registrations are final within one week of events. We will make the digital training materials (Leader Guide, Couples Guide, Lecture Slides, Demonstration Videos, and additional resources) available then. To obtain a refund, please notify us at least one week (7-days) before the event. Within one week (7-days) of the workshop, no refunds will be issued.Â
CE credits are only available to those who attend the live, virtual training. To purchase Continuing Education credits for the live training, please click here to go to R. Cassidy’s site. On their website, you will see the recognized organizations and the link to purchase CEs. The cost is $40 for 7.5 hours of CEs.
