Dr. J currently serves as Clinical Director at Cognitive Behavior Institute (CBI) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As a Professor of Counseling, he regularly taught courses in Family Therapy, Couples Therapy, and Professional Ethics while serving as the Director for Geneva College’s Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling Program for 12 years. In 2017, he launched the Center for Marriage and Family at CBI which focuses on providing high-quality relationship-oriented therapy that is research-informed, client directed, and peppered with a healthy dose of compassion. He has extensive counseling and clinical supervision experience in community based, outpatient, and group private practice settings.
