The Lessons in Love: Seven Principles for Singles course is the newest of The Gottman Institute’s suite of professional development trainings. This course is based on the Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work and presented in an accessible format to singles looking to create lasting and healthy relationships. 

Our Singles Guide takes participants step-by-step through the interactive exercises in each Lessons in Love program chapter. This Guide offers each person their own private space to work through exercises and thoughtfully reflect on each principle as it applies to their past, present, and future relationships.

Clinicians: Individuals can work through each of the seven principles in your practice using the provided guide, and you can use your expertise to deepen their understanding and use of Gottman Method concepts.

Singles: You can use this guide at home! Simply access the guide on your Gottman.com account and follow along in the workbook. You can also download the free Gottman Card Deck app to access the digital Love Maps and Open-Ended Questions card decks. 

Gottman Lessons in Love Leader Program: This is the course material for the Lessons in Love: Seven Principles for Singles Workshops. Lessons in Love Leaders can bulk order these sets to use in a class or group setting in their own workshops. Your participants can follow along closely as you teach the Seven Principles curriculum.
